When Can Child Custody Be Lost in Bahrain?
Child custody is a sensitive responsibility that requires close attention to the child, proper care, and the ability to meet the child’s needs. For this reason, the custodian must meet certain legal conditions that make them suitable to carry out these responsibilities. These conditions include:
- Being Muslim.
- Being of sound mind.
- Having reached legal maturity.

- Having the ability to care for the child, provide proper upbringing, and meet the child’s basic needs.
